GYPA offers unique opportunities for volunteers interested in the dynamic non-profit field. We seek applicants with a wide variety of interests and skills for both short-term research projects and longer-term internships. GYPA occassionally offers positions in our DC office for qualified undergraduate students, recent graduates, and graduate students throughout the year. Grant Writer (Pro-Bono)

The position is open to professionals, graduate and undergraduate students with grant writing experience. This work can be done remotely from home office, apartment or dorm. Grant Writer must be based in Washington, DC and able to meet or attend at least 2 GYPA staff meetings per month.

Short-Term Research Position (Pro-Bono)

The position is open to graduate and undergraduate students with internet-based research experience. This work can be done remotely from home office, apartment or dorm. The scope of the internship is several 2-4 week projects which will provide crucial analysis to contribute to sustainability and success of operations. Researcher must be based in Washington, DC and able to meet or attend at least 2 GYPA staff meetings per month. Hours are flexible, and will include both time at home and in the office (Metro Center).
